South-Africa is the World in One country! South Africa is known for its diversity in cultures and languages. Eleven official languages are recognised in the constitution. Two of these languages are of European origin: Afrikaans, a language which originated mainly from Dutch that is spoken by the majority of white and Coloured South Africans, and South African English. Though English has a large role in public and commercial life, it is nevertheless only the fifth most-spoken home language in South Africa.
Which parks to include in your trip
Finding it hard to choose a trip? Let us advice you. South-Africa has many national parks, some very remote, some malaria free, some with the Big 5, others not. People travelling with children, active hikers, walking safari's, every traveller is different and is looking for a different experience. We love to help you design the perfect holiday!
Well worth a stop over! Swaziland is one of the smallest countries on the African continent and is landlocked by both South Africa and Mozambique. This country is not bigger than 200 kilometer from north to south and 130 kilometer from east to west.
Swaziland is a mountainous and hilly country with a few plains. Mbabane is the administrative capital of the country and Lobamda is both the royal and legislative capital. Other cities are Mazini and Siteki. Hlane Royal National Park is the biggest protected area of Swaziland and is very suitable for safaris, because of the extensive infrastructure and the many waterholes. It is home of many wildlife, like lions and elephants. You can either do a guided game drive or you can drive through the park yourself!
