Crowned by Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, the Amboseli National Parks is one of Kenya’s most popular parks. The name “Amboseli” comes from a Maasai word meaning “salty dust”, and it is one of the best places in Africa to view large herds of elephants up close. Nature lovers can explore five different habitats here ranging from the dried-up bed of Lake Amboseli, wetlands with sulphur springs, the savannah and woodlands.
We are pretty sure that one of your pictures will end up on your wall. With the stunning Kilimanjaro in the background, the silhouet of an acacia tree and a troop of elephants approaching, with be a memory you want to be reminded of every day.
Meet the Masai
We work together with a small Masai village in the area to offer off the beaten track Masaai encounters in a non touristy way. Spend the day hearding the cows, preparing a meal and sleep in one of their huts if you dare. A unique way to experience their authentic culture and learn about Kenya.
