Helaas met slecht nieuws voor de toeristische sector. Waar voorheen alleen 18% BTW over accommodaties werd gerekend hebben ze nu besloten ook BTW over parkentreegelden en transport te gaan rekenen. Zoals je je kunt voorstellen heeft dit een behoorlijke impact op onze reizen. De afgelopen weken zijn onze lokale partners in Tanzania, in samenwerking met TATO (Tanzanian Association of Tour Operators), bezig geweest dit aan te vechten. Helaas zonder resultaat. Vrijdag 1 juli werd bekend dat de plannen toch echt door gaan. Met ingang van 1 juli 2016. Wij zijn allemaal geschokt door dit nieuws en kunnen alleen maar hoofdschuddend toekijken.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Als klap op de vuurpijl kregen wij op 27 juni te horen dat ook de Ngorongoro Conservation Area (Ngorongoro Krater) haar prijzen per 1 juli 2016 verhoogt.
