Tour Details
Explore the true highlights of the fascinating country of Zimbabwe. Over 9 days, experience the majesty of the mighty Victoria Falls, the quality game viewing along the Lake Kariba, the UNESCO World Heritage site in Mana Pools National Park and the vast wilderness of the Hwange National Park.

Highlights

Victoria Falls – Victoria Falls has been called “the greatest known curtain of falling water”. The Falls borders on Zambia and Zimbabwe, and can be viewed from vast distances from both sides. Columns of spray can be felt from miles away as 546 million cubic meters of water per minute plummet over the edge.

Zambezi Sunset Boat Cruise – The Zambezi River sunset cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of this majestic River.  You may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, elephant and sometimes even rhino in their natural environment, as well as enjoy the many different bird species.

Lake Kariba – Lake Kariba was filled between 1958 and 1963 following the completion of the Kariba Dam. The dam wall was built across the Kariba Gorge to harness the river’s flow to generate hydroelectric power. This endeavour displaced about 57,000 local tribes-people, and over 5,000 wild animals.

Mana Pools National Park – Mana Pools is a UNESCO World Heritage site and the pools draw a variety of game for magnificent game viewing opportunities.

Hwange National Park – Hwange carries 105 mammal species, including 19 large herbivores and eight large carnivores. The big five can all be found in Hwange, as well as many other predators. The populations of wild dog and elephant are thought to be among the largest surviving groups in the world. Large concentrations of zebra and giraffe can also be found.
