With immediate effect plastic bags are no longer allowed within all Namibia National Parks.

28 June 2018

Namibia follows Kenya with banning plastic bags!

With immediate effect plastic bags are no longer allowed within all Namibia National Parks.

Therefore, any plastic bags that might be in your possessions will be removed by the Ministry of Environment and Tourism personnel when you enter any of the National Parks. We suggest purchasing reusable cotton bags that can be found at the local super market.
