When on safari in the Serengeti, you cannot see the snow tops of the Kilimanjaro mountain from that far. However, you can see the Kilimanjaro very well when arriving in Arusha, at JRO airport, when the skies are clear blue.
If you are looking to take that perfect picture of walking elephants with the Kilimanjaro mountain in the back ground, you need to visit Amboseli National Park in Kenya. This park is famous for the big herds of elephants and you most likely will have a couple of perfect shots of elephants.
