Day 1Johannesburg

Welcome to South Africa! Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be picked up by the driver from the small-scale guest house near the airport.
Enjoy your first night on South African soil!

Dag 2,3 Kuname Lodge - Karongwe Prviate game Reserve

After an early breakfast you will be dropped off at the airport in Johannesburg around 8:45 am, where you will take a domestic flight to the Kruger Park, to Hoedspruit to be precise. Once there you will be picked up and taken to the Karongwe Private Game reserve.

Karongwe Private Game Reserve

Kuname Lodge is a small, exclusive, luxury safari lodge set in approximately 9,000 hectares of unspoilt African bush, within the Karongwe Private Game Reserve.
Bordered by the towering Drakensberg escarpment to the west and set in game-rich, lush riverine vegetation, the lodge offers a variety of breathtaking views, diverse landscapes and one of the best big five game viewing opportunities in southern Africa.

Dag 4, 5,Kings Camp - Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

After a final game drive and breakfast you will be picked up around 10:45 am and taken to the next lodge, this time in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. The ride takes about 2.5 hours, so you will be in time for lunch. Enjoy a different environment, also in a Big Five reserve. You will spend the next 2 nights in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, part of the Greater Kruger Park. Enjoy the game drives and have a chance to meet the Big Five!

Located within the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve, Kings Camp overlooks an open savannah plain with a waterhole, frequented by a wide variety of wildlife both day and night. Part of the larger Kruger National Park, which covers an area of 2.2 million hectares, this safari lodge in Timbavati is a wildlife haven with a diversity of animals including the Big 5 (lion, elephant, rhino, leopard and buffalo ). With 100 km² of bush to traverse, you’ll have plenty of space to explore the endless variety of African wildlife in an open Land Rover.

Dag 6, 7, 8Stellenbosch

Timbavati Private Nature Reserve

After a final game drive and breakfast you will be picked up around 10:45 am and taken to the next lodge, this time in the Timbavati Private Nature Reserve. The ride takes about 2.5 hours, so you will be in time for lunch. Enjoy a different environment, also in a Big Five reserve. Stellenbosch

After a final game drive and breakfast it is time to check out. You will be taken to the airport in Hoedspruit and take a domestic flight to Cape Town. Once there, you will be picked up and taken to the accommodation in beautiful Stellenbosch, in the heart of the South African winelands.

Stellenbosch is located in the heart of the Cape winelands. It is a pleasant student city, where you can taste delicious wine at one of the more than 200 wineries. You can visit many of them without an appointment! Stroll leisurely through the streets of this cozy village and enjoy the surrounding nature! Your stay is on a wine farm just outside the village.

On one of the days you will spend a full day with a guide tasting wine or other delicacies and enjoying these beautiful surroundings. Time is made for lunch. Lunch and wine tastings are at your own expense.

Day 9, 10, 11Cape Town

Cape Town

Spend the last few days in the cosmopolitan city of Cape Town and explore the many highlights of this beautiful city. You will be picked up after breakfast and taken to the hotel in Cape Town.

On one of the days you will spend a full day with a guide to the Cape of Good Hope and Boulders Beach. Lunch and entrance fees are at your own expense.

Day 12End of itinerary

Enjoy the last day in Cape Town. You will be picked up at the guesthouse and dropped off at Cape Town airport. in time for your flight back home.

Is het mogelijk om de huurauto op te waarderen?

Jazeker. In overleg huren we de gewenste auto die bij het reisgezelschap past. Van SUV tot mini busje of automaat.

Welke valuta zal ik meenemen?

In de meeste restaurants, tankstations en hotels kun je met een normale pinpas betalen. Het is noodzakelijk om creditcard mee te nemen voor de kleine borg van de huurauto. De nationale munteenheid van Zuid-Afrika is de Rand (ZAR).

Kan ik extra nachten bijboeken?

Absoluut. We kunnen de reis uitbreiden met extra overnachtingen, een reis naar Krugerpark, Kwazulu Natal of de Victoria watervallen en verder!

Ik wil liever niet zelf rijden, kan dat?

Indien gewenst boeken we tranafer of een gids tijdens de vakantie. hier zijn vanzelfsprekend meerkosten aan verbonden.
