Itinerary

Day 1Okavango Delta

Upon arrival at Maun International Airport, you will be greeted by your safari guide and transferred to the mokoro station for an authentic overnight experience in the Okavango Delta. Travel deep into this UNESCO World Heritage Site on a Mokoro (dugout canoe), skillfully poled by local guides through winding channels lined with towering papyrus and water lilies. Along the way, keep an eye out for elephants wading in the shallows, sitatunga antelopes, and a variety of colourful birdlife, including kingfishers and African jacanas. After a relaxing journey, arrive at a secluded island where you will set up camp for the night.

In the late afternoon, embark on a guided bush walk to track wildlife on foot, spotting zebras, red lechwes, and maybe even a lion in the distance. As the sun sets, return to camp for dinner by the fire, with the sounds of the Delta’s nocturnal life providing the perfect backdrop for your first night in the wild.

Activities included:
Cruise to Chief’s Island
Afternoon gamewalk

Day 2Moremi Game Reserve

Wake up to the peaceful sounds of the Delta and enjoy a leisurely breakfast before returning to the mokoro station. From there, you will travel by vehicle to Moremi Game Reserve, the first wildlife reserve in Africa to be established by local communities. Moremi is home to a spectacular array of wildlife, including large herds of elephants, buffalo, and leopards hiding in the mopane woodlands. Upon arrival, settle into your private campsite and head out for an afternoon game drive, exploring the floodplains and riverbanks where hippos and crocodiles bask in the sun. Keep an eye out for wild dogs, one of Moremi’s most famous residents. As the day ends, return to camp for a delicious dinner and a night under the starlit African sky.

Activities included:
Cruise back from Chief’s Island
Afternoon gamedrive Moremi National Park

Day 3Moremi Game Reserve

A full day of adventure awaits as you explore the diverse landscapes of Moremi. Begin with an early morning game drive, a prime time for spotting predators on the hunt. Roam through the open grasslands and acacia forests in search of cheetahs, hyenas, and large herds of antelope. Along the waterways, you may encounter fish eagles swooping down to catch their prey or herds of red lechwe splashing through the shallows. Midday offers a chance to relax in camp before heading out for another exciting game drive through the Xakanaxa region. This is an area known for its dense populations of giraffes, buffalo, and lions. After another rewarding day, return to camp for a hearty dinner and stories around the fire.

Activiites included:
Morning and afternoon gamedrive Moremi Game Reserve

Day 4Savuti - Chobe National Park

After breakfast, depart for the legendary Savuti region of Chobe National Park, known for its dramatic landscapes and high predator activity. The drive takes you through the dry, sandy terrain of the Mababe Depression before reaching Savuti, where rocky outcrops, open savannas, and the seasonal Savuti Channel create a haven for wildlife. Upon arrival, settle into camp before setting out on a game drive to explore this rugged wilderness. Savuti is famous for its large prides of lions, powerful elephant bulls, and frequent leopard sightings. During the dry season, the waterholes attract large concentrations of animals, making it one of the best places in Botswana to witness dramatic wildlife interactions. As the sun dips below the horizon, return to camp for another evening under the African sky.

Activities included:
Game drive Chobe National Park – Savuti region

Day 5Savuti - Chobe National Park

Rise early for a full day of exploration in Savuti, where every game drive holds the promise of an unforgettable sighting. Track large herds of buffalo as they traverse the open plains, observe giraffes browsing on thorny acacia trees, and watch as warthogs scurry through the bush. This region is also well known for its resident packs of wild dogs, offering a rare opportunity to witness these fascinating hunters in action. After a midday rest at camp, head out for an afternoon drive to the ancient Savuti Marsh, where large herds of zebra and wildebeest roam. The marsh’s vast grasslands are home to large herds of zebra and wildebeest, while its towering baobabs create a striking contrast against the blue sky. As the sun sets on your final full day in the bush, enjoy a celebratory dinner, reflecting on the incredible moments of your safari.

Activities included:
Full day game drive Chobe National Park – Savuti Region

Day 6End of safari

After an early breakfast, bid farewell to the African wilderness as you embark on a scenic transfer to Kasane. Enjoy a last glimpse of Botswana’s wildlife en route before being dropped off at Kasane International Airport, where your safari adventure comes to an end.
