Boat safari

The river shores in Africa have abundant wildlife

BOAT SAFARI

River safaris are plenty available at our destinations and all well worth the experience. A boat tour normally takes of at dawn or sunset, during the cooler hours of the day when animals are most active. We are most certain you will spot crocodiles, hippo’s, elephants, buffalo and many birds.

Most safari boats are solar and specifically designed propeller-free for shallow water.  Most boats have cushioned seats, and are equipped with a bird book and map showing the route. An experienced skipper conducts your safari; sharing interesting information about the river, the wildlife, the people and the history. There are party boats with free booze and small private boats for photographers. Please get in touch with us for more information.

Best places for a boat safari? There are many but these are not to be missed: Chobe River (Botswana), Upper Zambezi River (Zambia, Zimbabwe), Lower Zambezi (Zambia, Zimbabwe), St. Lucia (South Africa), Kazunga Channel (Uganda), Lake Naivasha (Kenya), Akagera National Park (Rwanda).
