In consultation
Welcome to Kenya! Upon arrival you will be met and taken to the hotel for the first night on the African continent.
After an early breakfast you will first visit the elephant sanctuary Sheldrick Orphanage.
Afterwards you will travel onward to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. This is the home of the largest concentration of large mammals and is often known as the ultimate safari destination in Africa. The park is the northern extension of the Serengeti-Mara eco system, known for the annual migration of wildebeest. With a game drive along the way you will be brought to the lodge. After you have checked in, there is a hot lunch on the program. Later in the evening a game drive will take place at this spectacular place. Enjoy endless plains, and of course lots of wildlife.
On the way to the Masai Mara you can stop at a Masai settlement. Our guide knows the less touristy places.
Today you have a full day to explore the Masai Mara. Our guide will take you on a full day safari with picnic lunch.
Today you will leave the Mara and travel to Lake Naivasha.
Lake Naivasha is the highest of all the lakes in the Rift Valley (the Great Rift Valley), and despite not being fed from outside, it is one of the two freshwater lakes in the Rift Valley. Surrounded by papyrus and acacia trees, this beautiful lake attracts a wide variety of bird species. Even though Lake Naivasha is more than 10 kilometers long and wide, it is very shallow, so its final size depends on the amount of rain that falls. So dependent, in fact, that the lake completely dried up at the beginning of the 20th century.
Enjoy a boat trip on the lake.
After breakfast and check-out, you will travel to Amboseli National Park.
The park is known for its many animals and the beautiful landscape, dominated by the mighty Kilimanjaro. It provides a nice contrast with the dusty and dry image, which is partly caused by the volcanic ash that comes from Kilimanjaro. Despite its appearance, there is a permanent supply of water, which is filtered between the volcanic rocks of Kilimanjaro due to melting snow. These streams flow underground, providing fresh green areas and providing two clear water sources in the park.
Today you will travel to Mombasa by train. Upon arrival your transfer will be waiting for you and take you to Chale island.
Here you have a week to fully enjoy this paradise at Diani Beach!
We make sure that a honeymoon is full of surprises, but of course we cannot reveal everything …
Today is departure day. Take a last final dip in the ocean before you prepare for your flight home. You will be dropped off at Mombasa Airport
We have had a wonderful honeymoon. Our guide was very skilled and we learned so much about the wildlife. Then the final days on the beach were just perfect. We loved every second!
