Itinerary

Day 1Paarl

Explore the Paarl/Franschhoek region in the heart of the Cape Winelands, on a wine tour before spending one night at Cascade Country Manor, Paarl – optional activities include wine tastings, visiting the magnificent Cathedral Cellar with its barrel-vaulted roof and large carved red wine vats;

Day 2Stellenbosch

Spend the at Eendracht Hotel – visit the wine farms in the Stellenbosch region, take a scenic hike through the winelands, do a guided bicycle tour of Stellenbosch and the vineyards or visit the wine farms with a hop off wine or a private wine tour, we will gladly assist in booking any of these.

Day 3Elgin Wine Valley

Overnight at South Hill Vineyard’s guest house in the heart of the Elgin Valley – visit the Elgin Wine farms, sample locally made craft cider and visit the UNESCO protected Kogelberg Reserve – other activities include swimming, apple-picking, hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, river cruises, ziplining, bird watching, wine tastings or just savour a glass of South Hill wine while relaxing;

Day 4Cape South Coast

Take a scenic drive towards lovely Arniston and spend the night at The Arniston Spa Hotel, next to a quaint old fishing village, surrounded by pristine beaches and nature reserves;

Day 5, 6De Hoop Nature Reserve

Your last 2 nights are spent at the outstanding De Hoop Collection, De Hoop Nature Reserve. There are plenty of things to do – whale-watching topping the list of course, day walks, guided bird walks, scenic game drives and top-quality wines from its Wine Cellar – in a silo.

Day 7End of itinerary

This is the end of your tour through the Western Cape. We hope you enjoyed this Cape Country Route!

Yes you can. We can extent this trip. We can even include a Victoria Falls visit or Kruger Park safari.

Do I get my money back when the Robben Island excursion is cancelled due to storm?

Yes, if booked in advance via will try to move the excursion or we give you your money back if there is a lack of time.
