Itinerary

Day 1Windhoek

Today you will arrive in Namibia. Upon arrival you will be met by our representative at the arrivals gate.
Drop off at the 4×4 depot for collection of the vehicle.
The afternoon is at leisure. You will have some time to do some shopping for the next couple of days.

Day 2, 3Sesriem

Today your self drive journey starts! Drive towards the Namib desert and enjoy the scenery.
Explore the world famous Sossusvlei by yourself or book a Hot Air Balloon safari upfront.

Day 4, 5Swakopmund

Drive towards Swakopmund. At Solitair you can put fuel in.
Swakopmund has a lot to offer and a day exploring the sand dunes or a dolphin cruise will be worthwhile.

Day 6, 7Twyfelfontein

Leave the desert behind you and drive towards Damaraland. There is plenty to discover, from the rock paintings at Brandberg to desert elephants and himba tribes.

Day 8, 9Etosha South

Time for a safari! Explore Etosha with your own rental vehicle and drive from waterhole to waterhole. The animals are most active during early morning and late afternoon hours.
You could book a safari with a guide through the lodge. However, we feel that Etosha is very suitable for self drive.

Day 10Etosha East

Drive towards the Eastern side of the park and explore this area.

Day 11Waterberg Plateau National Park

Leave the wildlife and drive towards Waterberg. You could visit a cheetah rehabilitation programme through the campsite, go for a hike at Waterberg Plateau National Park and enjoy the views. Rhino tracking is also possible in the area.

Day 12End of itinerary

Time to go home. Drop of the vehicle at the 4×4 depot. Our transfer will drop you off at the airport, in time to fly out.

Can we upgrade our rental car?

Yes, after confirmation we will contact you about additional requests. For example a rental car upgrade etc.

Which currency is most widely accepted on this tour?

You can use ZAR and your bank/credit card should be accepted in most supermarkets, lodges and restaurants.

Can I book additional nights?

Yes you can. We can extent this trip. We can even include a Victoria Falls visit or Kruger Park safari.

Do I get my money back when the Robben Island excursion is cancelled due to storm?

Yes, if booked in advance via will try to move the excursion or we give you your money back if there is a lack of time.
