Candle factories, craft markets, nature reserves, bicycle rides and hiking trails, there are plenty of things to do here!
Drive back to South Africa and travel to Kwazulu Natal, the the lush and green place called St Lucia. Early risers could opt to spend a day in the Hluhluwe Imfolozi Park. It is a big 5 game reserve and it houses many animals. The surroundings are very different to Kruger Park, but roads are also good here and very suitable for self drives.
St. Lucia itself is well known for its inalnd lagoon, which is home to may crocs and hippos. On on of the days here we will book you onn a lagoon crsuise so you can experience this at leisure. The safari tents are equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including air-conditioning for the warmer nights. Meals can be cooked by yourself, but can also be pre-booked if you prefer
Travel along the amazing Route 62 to your next overnight place Montagu, a pretty, quiet and peaceful town well known for its amazing wines and surroundings. Visit Table Mountain, Robben Island and Cape Point. But there are many other less-known attractions that are absolutely worth a visit !
