Itinerary

Day 1Lake Manyara National Park

Meet & greet in Arusha with your professional driver/guide. Departure to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic-lunch. Spend the day on game drive in this unique national park – situated between the alkaline lake itself and the steep Rift Valley wall. Watch out for elephants, giraffes, wildebeests and plain zebras, while trying to spot Manyara’s famous tree-climbing lions. Proceed to Karatu.

Day 2, 3Serengeti National Park – Central

Road journey to Serengeti National Park with picnic-lunch. Central Serengeti offers a rich population of resident wildlife throughout the year. Game viewing is superb with grounding hippos; herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and many more. Of course, predators like cheetahs, hyenas, leopards and lions are not far.

Serengeti, a UNESCO world heritage site, is also home to the Great Wildebeest Migration. Every year around 1.5 million wildebeest take the trek of their life in a clockwise circle through the Serengeti-Mara ecosystem – and they are accompanied by over 500.000 zebras and 200.000 gazelles. Depending on your travel time, you might be able to spot them crossing the Seronera Valley.

Day 4Ngorongoro Crater

Departure to Ngorongoro Crater with picnic-lunch – a breathtaking scenery await you here in this extinct volcanic caldera! The crater floor is dominated by open grassland which is home to buffaloes, elephants, gazelles, hyenas, lions, rhinoceros, warthogs, wildebeests, zebras and many more. Explore one of Tanzania’s most exotic natural wonders on game drive. Proceed to Karatu afterwards.

Day 5Return to Arusha

Road journey to Arusha with arrival in the early afternoon. Drop-off is arranged depending on your onwards travel journey – either in Arusha Town or at Arusha Airport (ARK) / Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO).
