Camps Bay, Cape Town, South Africa
Despite the cool or should we say refreshing waters of the Atlantic, Cape Town hosts a selection of stunning beaches surrounded by mountains and with mesmerizing scenery. One beach in particular stands out from the rest – Camps Bay. It is certified as a ‘blue flag’ beach and is possibly the most fashionable, have-to-be-seen-at beach in the mother city. It is a trendy locale in summer with people from all over the world enjoying the beach life and the local granadilla ice cream. Stylish local bars & restaurants dot beach road where you can sample an array of delicious meals and inviting cocktails oozing with class.

End your adventure tour in Cape Town on our Classic Safari or Volunteer Project in Cape Town and soak up the sun and beach front bars to celebrate the end of tour.

Regular sightings of Giant Manta Rays, Whale Sharks, Turtles and other marine life are reported almost all year around. Inhambane is a swimmers dream and a snorkellers paradise – with glorious beaches, fantastic weather, splendid seafood and friendly locals making this is one of the top beach destinations to visit on the African continent.

Lake Malawi – the lake beach
Unlike the coastal white sand, Lake Malawi offers golden sandy beaches, natural coves, no tides, no currents and no sharks. The water is salt-free, mineral rich and crystal clear and sometimes the visibility in the water is more than 30m! It is not only a scenic wonderland with over 500 species of Cichlids – fantastic for the underwater enthusiasts – it is also a place of pure relaxation. To top it off, it is encircled by sheer mountains and edged by endless lush vegetation. Lake Malawi is a massive lake carved out by the Great Rift Valley and will leave you wanting to stay forever.

Enjoy beach life on our overland tours who all pass stop at Lake Malawi for a couple of days.

Zanzibar – Kendwa Beach
Zanzibar is an exotic Indian Ocean island off the coast of Dar es Salaam. The rich culture, spice plantations and the vast stretches of coconut palm fringed beaches, make this a tropical haven.  The water is turquoise and the sunsets are spectacular. Forget about time here and put your feet up – watch the local boats go by, have a massage or simply chill on the local deck chairs lining the coastline. Water enthusiasts can make a splash with snorkelling, diving, dhow safaris and swimming. The beach bar restaurants dot the water’s edge and offer traditional cuisine, seafood and local cocktails (served in coconuts, if you so choose). Don’t forget the night life, with the full moon parties topping off this ultimate beach experience.

Visit Zanzibar and enjoy this tropical Island with its endless white sandy beaches on our 18 days Kenya & Tanzania Adventure tour.

Coffee Bay, wild Coast
Coffee Bay is one of the most picturesque and un-developed places to visit on your South African adventure – and Coffee Bay Beach is simply breath-taking. It extends from the Nenga River Mouth, and is set against the backdrop of black-faced cliffs, white sand, and jade hills and mountains. This stretch of beach is popular for horse riding, surfing, swimming and sunbathing. In addition, the extended coast is famous for its walking and hiking trails. The “Hole-in-the-Wall” is a short drive away, or a few hours hike, but its well worth the visit. Bathers, surfers or sun worshippers will appreciate the sandy beaches, waves and the remarkable views.Join on our 8 days Cape Town to Durban tour and enjoy what Coffee Bay has to offer.
