You can visit the area all year round but best is in the dry season, between May and October.
There are no lions or elephants in this park, but due to the quite isolated area, it has been good for more threatened animals species like black and white rhino, roan and sable antelope etc. Other animals that roam here are cheetah, leopard, brown hyena, eland, tsessebe, kudu, jackal and occasionally wild dog.
