Which African countries are open for tourists?
Many of you have asked when Africa is opening and if the borders are open. The air borders have been open for some time now and camps and lodges are open.
- Botswana: international airports open, landborders are open
- Kenya: international airports open, landborders are open
- Madagascar: international airport of Nosy Be is only open
- Malawi: international airports open, landborders are closed
- Mauritius: international airports are closed until March 26 2021
- Mozambique: international airports open, landborders are closed
- Namibia: international airports open, landborder Katima Mulilo is only open
- Rwanda: international airports open, landborders are closed
- Seychelles: international airports are open
- Tanzania: international airports open, landborders are open
- Uganda: international airports open, landborders are closed
- Zambia: international airports are open, landborders Victoria Falls and Chirundu are closed
- Zimbabwe: international airports open, landborders are closed
- South Africa: international airports open, most landborders are open
In all destinations it is possible to do a PCR test before departure. But please check your travel insurance for coverage during Covid-19.
