In the north eastern part of Zambia one of the most beautiful wildlife parks of the continent of Africa is located: South Luangwa National Park.
The Luangwa River is crossing from north to south through this reserve. Along the river many green river bushes can bes een, a sign that water is life!
During the dry season from August till October the animals are gathering around the river banks and waterholes. This is the best period to spot the greater mammals, like lions, leopards, buffalo’s and the puku.

North Luangwa National Park
Tourists can only access this magnificent private park via a safari operator, who can take them on exciting walking safaris through the park, where visitors will find themselves surrounded by pristine wilderness. North Luangwa provides a sanctuary for a plethora of wildlife, including buffalo, lion, hyena, wildebeest, bushbuck, zebra, warthog, baboon, puku, elephant, leopard, hartebeest, reedbuck and eland.
