No more PCR test for entry into Kenya for fully vaccinated travelers

PRE DEPARTURE REQUIREMENTS KENYA
- All travellers to Kenya must be fully vaccinated unless meeting the exemption criteria
- Fully vaccinated travellers are exempt from PCR testing.
- Unvaccinated travellers 5yrs+ must take a valid PCR test conducted within 72hrs before departure.
- There will be no paper verification of COVID-19 test results & vaccination certificates upon arrival into Kenya. Airlines must ensure all travellers have uploaded both documents into global haven before boarding via www.globalhaven.org
- All travellers (incl. those in transit) must complete a Travellers Health Surveillance Form 24hrs before arrival. This generates a QR code required for entry.
- All travellers must obtain their visa in advance, online via: www.evisa.go.ke.
ON ARRIVAL IN KENYA
- All arrivals are be expected to self-monitor and report daily through the jitenge platform for their first 14 days in Kenya.
- Unvaccinated travellers will be subject to rapid antigen testing on arrival at a cost of USD30. Any positive results will require a further PCR Test at a cost of USD50 and required to self isolate
ON DEPARTURE
- All travellers require a Covid-19 vaccination certificate.
- PCR tests are not required unless specified by the airline / final destination.
